Sezóna PREMIER LEAGUE 2021/22 je 28. sezónou Premier League (nejvyšší anglické fotbalové soutěže) od jejího založení v roce 1992. sezóna začíná 10. srpna 2019 a poslední kolo je naplánováno na 17. května 2020.
Obhájcem trofeje ze sezóny 2018/19 je Manchester City. Nováčky soutěže jsou Norwich City (1. příčka v Championship), Sheffield United (2. příčka v Championship) a Aston Villa (vítěz play-off Championship), které nahradily trojici sestupujících klubů Cardiff City (18. příčka v PL), Fulham FC (19. příčka v PL) a Huddersfield Town (20. příčka v PL).
V domácích pohárech je obhájcem Manchester City (The Emirates FA Cup, Carabao Cup). Ligu mistrů si v sezóně 2019/20 zahrají Manchester City (mistr PL), Liverpool FC (vicemistr PL a vítěz Ligy mistrů), Chelsea FC (3. příčka v PL a vítěz Evropské ligy) a Tottenham Hotspur (4. příčka v PL) . V Evropské lize zastupuje anglickou nejvyšší soutěž trojice klubů – Arsenal FC (5. příčka v PL), Manchester United (6. příčka v PL) a Wolverhampton Wanderers (7. příčka v PL).

Od sezóny 2019/20 bude poprvé rozhodčím na hřišti k dispozici videorozhodčí (VAR). Systém VAR bude moci rozhodčí použít v následujících situacích: při gólech (a incidentech, které k nim vedly), při pokutových kopech, při červených kartách a rozhodčího také může VAR upozornit na jednoznačnou chybu verdiktu (například karta udělena nesprávnému hráči).
Od roku 2020 budou mít kluby v únoru poprvé k dispozici zimní přestávku. Jedno ligové kolo se rozdělí do dvou víkendů a během každého z těchto víkendů bude v akci pouze deset klubů (5 zápasů). Hráči každého klubu tak budou mít k dispozici 10 dní bez ligového fotbalu.
